Physics

Physics department in DAV (PG) College was established since 1969 with starting of BSc (PCM). Dr. G. P. Gupta, Dr. A. K. Sharma and Dr. R. S. Upadhyaya started to spread their knowledge. Two sections in BSc are approved since 1969.

Dr. G. P. Gupta was first Incharge of Department since 18 August 1969 to 04 November 2001.

Dr. A. K. Sharma was remained incharge since 05 November 2001 to 01 October 2014.

Prof. Vaibhav Jain is working as HOD/Incharge since 02 October 2014. Under his able supervision online and offline classes and practicals are running successfully during COVID-19 period.

MSc Physics specialization in Electronics was started in 1999 under self finance scheme in our department.

1. Online classes were running successfully during Lock down period due to covid-19 and after that.
2. During lock down Dr. Vaibhav Jain conducted 6 online quiz for COVID-19 awareness (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6) in which more than 400 persons were participated and e certificates were issued to them.
3. There will be motivational and feedback session time to time with students.
